2023 | DINNER 3 – SEX. SELF.

sex. what a broad topics. their is the personal part of sex, sexualities, the “bad” part of sex… focus on such a topic is much required. hence, as a first facette of this topic, we chose to focus on the “sex, self” part. our own relation with sex as a practice, as an instrument, as a relation.

What's your favorite method for getting yourself off? Do you watch porn? What is your favourite porn category? Does Viewing Pornography Affects Your Mood afterwards? How do you feel after watching porn? Is there anything you've always wanted to try during foreplay but have been hesitant to bring up? Have you ever faked an orgasm or pleasure? If so, why? how would you define sexual shame? what do you need after sex?

the menu. 4 courses.
our unique 4 part structure is now taking the shape of a full act.
this menu was designed to play.
masturbation.
foreplay.
the act - with a cliché mise-en scène.
aftercare.
Despite our intention for a light-hearted dinner filled with laughter, we found ourselves engaged in unexpectedly deep conversations. The topics veered towards discussions about one's sense of belonging and emotions within intimate relationships—a far more profound exploration than anticipated. Despite creating a "safe space," there was a noticeable hesitancy to speak up, likely due to the increased familiarity among participants. Nevertheless, this personal and intimate exchange brought forth profound insights. The dinner provided invaluable lessons on curating future gatherings, emphasizing the importance of fostering open dialogue and creating an environment where individuals feel empowered to share authentically.

2024 | DINNER 4 – A FEAST FOR THE AGES.

Aging is a journey we all share, yet it often remains shrouded in stigma and silence. Inspired by a conversation with someone twice our age, we delved into the evolution of the body, perceptions, and generational dynamics. This dinner was designed to spark a meaningful exploration of aging through the lenses of food, conversation, and shared experience.

2024 | DINNER 6 – TO BE SUSTAINABLY GROUNDED.

The environment is everywhere—woven into the fabric of our lives and yet so often avoided in deeper conversations. For this dinner, we chose to explore the Earth with intimacy and curiosity, creating a space where guests could reflect on their role in its future. In a world filled with noise, we wanted to bring the focus back to the quiet urgency of our planet’s story.

2023 | DINNER 2 – HARD TO DIGEST.

we hosted this second culinary experience within the und.wieder gallery that we have redecorated for the occasion. The topic was kinda hard to digest. Our aim with “digest” was to talk, eat and bring awareness around the topic of Irritable Bowel Syndrome like the Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitisa. A topic close to our heart and gut, touching people in our close surrounding and beyond.

2024 | DINNER 5 – NOURISHMENT FOR THE MIND

Mental health touches all of us, yet it often hides in the shadows, wrapped in stigma or discomfort. For this Dinner, we wanted to change that. Inspired by conversations within our community, we crafted an evening that brought mental health to the table—literally and figuratively. It was a space to reflect, connect, and explore the complexities of our minds together.
